This study aims to develop a visual associative memory assessment task using color-number associations and to (1) examine task difficulty and measurement characteristics by analyzing changes in accuracy and score distributions with increasing memory load, and (2) preliminarily evaluate its construct validity by examining associations between task performance and established neuropsychological test measures.

All participants will complete a computer-based visual associative memory task. Participants will be required to memorize sequentially presented color-number associations and subsequently identify the number corresponding to a cued color. Memory load will be manipulated by varying the number of color-number associations, with three difficulty levels consisting of three, four, or five associations. At each difficulty level, participants will complete three sets of 10 trials, resulting in 30 trials per difficulty level and 90 trials in total. Each stimulus will be presented for 1,250 ms, with an interstimulus interval of 250 ms.
