Objectives

Narrative objectives1

The purpose of this study was to identify the patterns of impairment in patients with PSCI and to clarify the changes in recovery and resting-state EEG activity in relation to these impairment patterns.
The significance of this study lies in the fact that elucidating the pathophysiological characteristics and neurological basis of PSCI will lead to the development of new rehabilitation methods for PSCI.

Primary outcomes

EEG tests will be conducted at three time points (T0: at the initial measurement, T1: 90 days later, T2: 180 days later). Each EEG test at these time points will be conducted within 5 days.

Key secondary outcomes

Cognitive tests will be administered at three time points (T0: at the initial measurement; T1: 90 days later; T2: 180 days later). The cognitive tests at each time point will be administered within 5 days.

Key inclusion criteria

Individuals diagnosed with a stroke by a physician via CT or MRI who are able to remain seated for at least 15 minutes

Key exclusion criteria

Individuals diagnosed with dementia
Individuals diagnosed with apraxia
Individuals diagnosed with severe aphasia
Individuals diagnosed with severe hemispatial neglect
