Human thoughts can sometimes disappear, and the state of not thinking about anything is referred to as Mind Blanking, MB. The aim of this study is to investigate the contribution of the Broca's area to MB, particularly the causal relationship, using transcranial magnetic stimulation.

Key inclusion criteria

1 Individuals aged 20 or older but under 30
2 Individuals who have received a thorough explanation regarding participation in this study and have provided written informed consent of their own free will

Key exclusion criteria

1 Individuals with a history of epilepsy or febrile seizures
2 Individuals with a history of head trauma or brain surgery, or those currently undergoing treatment for such conditions
3 Individuals with a history of brain disorders, or those currently undergoing treatment for such conditions
4 Individuals with implanted medical devices
5 Individuals currently taking medications that may induce seizures, such as antidepressants or antipsychotics, or medications that suppress brain activity, such as sleeping pills
6 Individuals with psychosis or psychiatric symptoms
7 Individuals other than those listed above whom the principal investigator or study coordinator deems unsuitable based on health status or ethical considerations
