This is a cross-sectional observational study in healthy adults. We examine the associations between somatosensory function (two-point discrimination threshold) as the outcome and gray matter volume, neurotransmitter (e.g., GABA) concentration, white matter microstructure, and functional networks centered on the temporo-parietal junction (TPJ) as factors. Data are collected prospectively. Sampling is convenience sampling from a defined population; no group allocation, randomization, or blinding is performed.
