The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of an 8-week self-talk training program on baseball self-efficacy and psychological competitive ability in junior high school baseball players.
Efficacy
Change in Baseball Self-Efficacy Scale scores measured before and after the intervention.

Participants will receive an 8-week psychological skills training program focused on self-talk.
The intervention will include education about self-talk, development of cognitive, emotional, and motivational self-talk skills, and application of these skills to baseball situations.
Participants will complete worksheets and practical assignments between sessions to facilitate the use of self-talk during training and competition.
