Key inclusion criteria

Day care service providers and community-based day care service providers listed in publicly available data from the Long-term Care Service Information Disclosure System and randomly selected according to the proportion of facilities in each prefecture. Respondents are facility directors or managers.

Key exclusion criteria

Dementia day care service providers and therapeutic day care service providers listed in the Long-term Care Service Information Disclosure System will be excluded. Duplicate facilities and responses with missing data on key survey items will also be excluded from the analysis.

This study is a cross-sectional questionnaire survey of day care service providers and community-based day care service providers in Japan. Facilities will be selected from publicly available data in the Long-term Care Service Information Disclosure System using proportionate random sampling by prefecture. No intervention will be administered, and questionnaires will be completed by facility directors or managers.
