Data sources and search strategy:
We will conduct a scoping review to identify how interactions and relationships between patients and healthcare providers in AYA (Adolescent and Young Adult) cancer care are treated and explained. We will search electronic databases including PubMed, CINAHL, and Ichushi-Web. Search terms will include "AYA generation," "cancer," "healthcare providers," and "involvement," combining controlled vocabulary and free-word searches according to each database. The search period will be from database inception to the date of the search.

Selection of studies:
Two reviewers will independently screen titles and abstracts according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and then assess full-text articles to determine eligibility. Disagreements will be resolved through discussion, and, if necessary, by consultation with a third reviewer.

Data extraction:
The following items will be extracted: analysis methods, number of subjects, patient age, healthcare provider occupation, definition of "involvement and relationship with healthcare providers," the concepts used to explain it, the situations covered, key findings, and areas lacking in research.
