Objectives

Narrative objectives1

This research seeks to decode the neural mechanisms underlying taste recognition through MRI-based detection of cortical activity triggered by complex flavors, including chocolate and potato chips. By integrating this with functional data on basic taste reception, we aim to visualize the neural circuitry of flavor perception-the interplay of taste and olfaction-and develop a comprehensive functional model.
