Total score of the Japanese version of the Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS) (Time point of evaluation: At the time of web-based questionnaire response)

1. Emotion regulation scores (Cognitive Reappraisal and Expressive Suppression) measured by the Japanese version of the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ)
2. Total score of work engagement measured by the Japanese version of the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-9)
3. Relative presenteeism index (job performance) measured by the Japanese version of the WHO Health and Work Performance Questionnaire (WHO-HPQ)

Key inclusion criteria

Physical therapists (including both full-time and part-time staff) currently engaged in clinical practice who work at hospitals within Fukuoka Prefecture (focusing on the Kitakyushu area).

Individuals who received a thorough explanation regarding the purpose and implementation of this study and provided voluntary informed consent on the web interface.

Key exclusion criteria

Individuals who are engaged exclusively in administrative or managerial duties.

Individuals who are currently on a leave of absence.

Individuals from whom explicit informed consent cannot be obtained on the web interface.

Individuals with significant deficiencies or missing data in their questionnaire responses, or those deemed inappropriate by the principal investigator.
