To conduct a web-based questionnaire survey of physicians who routinely manage patients with liver cirrhosis, with the aim of clarifying the current status of nutritional therapy for liver cirrhosis.

To describe physicians' awareness and current practices of nutritional therapy for liver cirrhosis, including nutritional assessment, sarcopenia assessment, dietary management, prescribing practices, and nutritional management systems in routine clinical care.

Primary outcomes

The following items will be explored descriptively in this survey.
1. Clinical backgrounds of respondents and routine clinical practice for liver cirrhosis
2. Awareness of nutritional therapy and relevant clinical guidelines
3. Current practices of nutritional and sarcopenia assessments
4. Current practices of dietary therapy, including divided meals and late evening snack (LES)
5. Prescribing practices of BCAA granules and enteral nutritional formulas for hepatic failure
6. Status of nutritional management systems and collaboration with dietitians

Physicians registered with the survey panel managed by Cross Marketing Inc. who have provided informed consent to participate in this survey. In addition, eligible participants are physicians who routinely manage patients with liver cirrhosis in their daily clinical practice.
