The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of applying anode-to-cathode transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to the supplementary motor area (SMA) during fine motor training in stroke patients, with the aim of examining the suppression of mirror activity and improvements in fine motor function.

Key exclusion criteria

metallic implants (e.g., cochlear implants or cardiac pacemakers) or a history of epilepsy or seizures were excluded.
