1. Nurses working in surgical wards of A General Hospital
2. Nurses with experience managing difficult peripheral venous access cases
3. Those who provided written informed consent

Key exclusion criteria

1. Nurses scheduled for ward transfer during the study period
2. Those unable to complete the questionnaire survey
3. Those deemed inappropriate by the principal investigator
