Ethical approval was not required, as this study involves secondary use of publicly available materials. Accordingly, the study registration date was entered in the "Ethics Committee Approval Date" field.
This study is conducted in accordance with established definitions of scoping reviews and adheres to the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. Japanese-language literature and materials will be searched using Ichushi-Web, CiNii Research, J-STAGE, and Google Scholar, supplemented by handsearching. Titles and abstracts of retrieved records will be screened to identify eligible sources of evidence.
The selected materials will be presented in a table. Subsequently, they will be converted to TXT files and analyzed using quantitative text analysis software (e.g., KH Coder). The analysis will include morphological parsing, frequent word extraction, co-occurrence network analysis, and hierarchical cluster analysis. This method will enable objective identification and visualization of key terms closely associated with the "Okui-jime" concept.
