This study aims to develop an individual-level program based on internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT) for workers and to examine its effectiveness in improving and preventing workplace loneliness using a randomized controlled trial.

The program is a self guided cognitive behavioral therapy CBT intervention delivered through video based materials hosted on a website which are also available in PDF format. The program consists of the following four sessions.
Psychoeducation on loneliness and social isolation and an introduction to the cognitive behavioral model
Cognitive restructuring
Behavioral activation
Values clarification and exploration of social resources
Each session includes homework assignments that participants complete independently.
Each session requires approximately 30-60 minutes and participants are instructed to complete one session per week resulting in a four week intervention period.
