To verify the relationship between nutritional assessment results using the 2008 Japanese Society of Clinical Nutrition criteria and the Global Leadership Initiative on Malnutrition (GLIM) criteria, which are assessment tools for malnutrition.

The nutritional status of hospitalized adult patients will be assessed using the Japan Society of Metabolism and Clinical Nutrition 2008 criteria and the GLIM criteria, and the proportion of patients who are undernourished will be compared.

At the time of admission, a nutritional assessment will be conducted using the Japan Society of Metabolism and Clinical Nutrition 2008 and the GLIM criteria. If fluid retention such as edema or pleural effusion is observed at the time of admission, a similar nutritional assessment will be conducted at the time of discharge, and the results will be compared with those of the Japan Society of Metabolism and Clinical Nutrition 2008 and the GLIM criteria.
