A prospective cohort study will investigate the relationship between sarcopenia and other clinical parameters and prognosis at the time of induction of chemotherapy in pancreatic cancer, to identify the prognostic risk factors of unresectable pancreatic cancer.

2) CT検査において根治切除不能である症例
3) 膵癌と病理診断が得られている症例
4) performance status 0もしくは1である症例
5) 切除不能膵癌に対して1次化学療法を導入した症例

1) patients = or >18 years of age
2) unresectable pancreatic cancer based on CT scan findings
3) pathological diagnosed invasive ductal carcinomas
4) ECOG performance status 0 or 1
4) patients of first-line chemotherapy introduced for unresectable pancreatic cancer

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

1) 活動性の重複癌を有する症例
2) ペースメーカーを装着している症例

1) patients with active multiple primary cancer
2) patients with pacemakers
