The primary outcome of this study is to assess the rate of change in the IES-R to the type of memory in the ICU.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

ICUに入室したのち48時間以上の人工呼吸管理を要する18歳以上の患者．

英語
We included patients had to be aged at least 18 years, receiving mechanical ventilation for at least 48 hours that was initiated within 48 hours of ICU admission.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
除外基準は以下の通りである．
① 明らかな中枢神経疾患の既往（脳卒中，頭部外傷，中枢神経系感染症，脳腫瘍，脳外科手術後，心肺停止蘇生後など）
② 精神科疾患・認知症の既往
③ アルコールやその他の中毒患者
④ 神経疾患
⑤ 血液腫瘍疾患
⑥ 日本語が理解できない患者
⑦ 視覚障害者，聴覚障害者
⑧ 他施設のICUから直接、対象のICUに入室した患者
⑨ 退室先が他の施設のICUである患者

We excluded the following patients:
1)History of apparent central nervous system disease (stroke, head injury, central nervous system infection, brain tumor, after brain surgery, after cardiopulmonary arrest resuscitation, etc.)
2)History of psychiatric disorders / dementia
3)Alcohol and other poisoning patients
4)Neurological disease
5)Hematological tumor diseases
6)Patient who cannot understand Japanese
7)Visually impaired and Hearing impaired
8)Patients admitted to an ICU at a research facility from an ICU at another hospital
9)Patients who are discharged to ICU of another hospital
