To examine, among junior and senior high school students and their parents, the effects of a web-based Personalized Normative Feedback (PNF) system alone and combined with a dialogue intervention based on the system, compared with a control group.

Control group: Participants complete the baseline survey and the 3-month follow-up survey.
PNF group: After the baseline survey, participants receive individualized normative feedback regarding their gaming use through the web-based Personalized Normative Feedback (PNF) system. A 3-month follow-up survey is conducted.
PNF plus dialogue intervention group: After the baseline survey, participants receive feedback through the web-based PNF system and a dialogue intervention based on the system at the university. A 3-month follow-up survey is conducted.

Male and Female
Parent-child dyads consisting of a junior or senior high school student and their guardian; the guardian provides informed consent and the student provides informed assent; participants are able to attend the explanation session, baseline survey, intervention if allocated, and the 3-month follow-up survey conducted at the university.
Participants will be excluded if they meet any of the following criteria:
Adolescents who do not provide assent or consent to participate in the study, or whose parents/guardians do not provide consent.
Adolescents or parents/guardians who have substantial difficulty understanding the study explanation, questionnaires, web-based Personalized Normative Feedback system, or dialog-based intervention.
Adolescents who are currently receiving ongoing treatment or professional support for gaming disorder, internet gaming disorder, or other mental health problems, and for whom participation in this study may interfere with such treatment or support.
Adolescents for whom participation in the study may cause substantial psychological burden, as judged by the adolescent, parent/guardian, or researcher.
Adolescents or parents/guardians who are unable to participate in the baseline assessment, intervention, or follow-up assessment.
Other individuals judged by the principal investigator or research staff to be inappropriate for participation in the study.
