To investigate the effectiveness of a low-cost, multi-component workplace physical activity intervention on promoting physical activity among workers in Japan.

The intervention program consists of four different strategies.
1) Individual: email reminder, animation videos, exercise videos, leaflet, and feedback.
2) Sociocultural: step competitions, lunchtime walking
3) Physical environmental: poster, relocate trash bins and printers
4) Organizational: physical activity policy, top-down motivation, and encouragement from managers
Control group: being placed on a waiting list and maintaining their usual working environment without receiving any intervention during the study period.
