Interventions/Control_1

The first group consisted of participants who received REBT intervention. They underwent a 15-session program designed to enhance administrative value and resilience, as well as challenge negative belief systems that impact organizational values and reduce career resilience.

Interventions/Control_2

Participants in the active control group did not receive the REBT intervention but underwent a different intervention concurrently with the experimental group. This type of control group design was chosen to strengthen the study

Key inclusion criteria

Participants to hold an administrative position
Be identified by dependent measures at baseline evaluation
Be permanent staff of government-owned schools or administrative staff of private schools
Provide consent to participate.

Key exclusion criteria

Having more than two administrators from the same school
Active involvement in other psychological interventions or pharmaceutical treatments
Suspension due to administrative malpractice, or residing outside the study location.

It was found that REBT effectively enhanced employees' work resilience and reduced negative administrative values. The study suggests that the positive effects of REBT on administrative values and work resilience may have long-lasting benefits, demonstrating its effectiveness.
