The purpose of this study is to evaluate participants' understanding of constipation and health-seeking intention before and after an open lecture on constipation.

Constipation is a common digestive disorder often managed by self-medication. Therefore, we evaluate the level of understanding about constipation, barriers to healthcare seeking, and healthcare-seeking intentions among the general public through a public lecture on constipation.
