Objectives

Narrative objectives1

The combination of VR and exercise is expected to serve as a novel exercise program that contributes to the habituation of physical activity through mood improvement. However, there are many unknowns regarding whether VR exercise enhances brain function, with evidence showing that combining it with moderate exercise improves executive function, but excessive exercise or high cognitive load conditions such as dual-task scenarios can conversely impair executive function. Therefore, this study focuses on batting movements as one of the minimal exercise program units, aiming to clarify whether the combination of VR and batting exercise enhances executive function.
