This study describes the conservative treatment of a case in which posterior hip dislocation and femoral head fracture occurred during a triple jump. Due to a COVID-19 infection during hospitalization, bone union progressed, allowing the patient to avoid surgery.
Efficacy
hip flexion and internal rotation range of motion
Hip flexion, extension, abduction, and adduction strength; knee flexion and extension strength; balance ability; muscle flexibility tests (Thomas test, Heel-Buttock Distance); gait analysis; body composition; self-administered questionnaires (Japanese versions of the Lower Extremity Functional Scale and the Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia).

Treatment
| Maneuver |
Twice a week, the patient undergoes piriformis and gluteal mobilization, facilitation of intra-articular joint movements, rectus femoris stretching, strengthening of the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and oblique abdominal muscles, and core training.
