Assessment

Primary outcomes

For physical activity, the Japanese version of the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) Version 2, developed by the World Health Organization (WHO), will be used. This internationally standardized questionnaire assesses physical activity levels separately for work, commuting, and leisure and is used in many countries and regions. For the exercise environment, the Japanese version of the Abbreviated Neighborhood Environment Walkability Scale (ANEWS) is used. For body composition, a body composition analyzer is used.

Key secondary outcomes

Body composition data will be measured using a body composition analyzer. Measured items include weight, body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, visceral fat level, fat mass, fat-free mass, muscle mass, body water content, body water percentage, estimated bone mass, basal metabolic rate, BMI, and obesity level.
