Other

Other related information

The aim of this study is to elucidate the complex palliative care needs of patients in home -based care.
In recent years, with the aging of the population, the importance of home -based care as a place for end-of-life care has been increasing. In particular, the delivery of palliative care at home is being promoted as a treatment environment option that respects the patient's wishes and quality of life. However, despite the fact that patients' care needs are diverse and complex, including disease progression, physical symptoms, psychological , social issues, spiritual aspects, and so on, these needs have not been evaluated quantitatively and comprehensively.
Therefore, this study aims to quantitatively clarify the complexity of palliative care needs of home -based care patients and evaluate the relationship with the utilization of long-term care insurance services and medical equipment, in order to identify issues for more appropriate provision of home -based care.
