Assessment

Primary outcomes

The time for each 10m section of the 50m sprint will be measured, and data will be collected using a video camera to analyze the sprinting movements in the 40m to 50m section. In addition, jumping ability will be measured in a jump test.

Results

The 50-meter sprint times of both groups improved significantly (p<0.05) as a result of training. In the DJ test, the jump height and vertical force of the TG group decreased significantly (P<0.05) after the training period.

Baseline Characteristics

Sixteen university track and field sprinters were randomly divided into two groups.

Participant flow

Sixteen university track and field sprinters were randomly divided into a trampoline training group (TG) and a ground training group (GG) and performed jumpT and running drills four times a week for 12 weeks. The TG performed training on a mini trampoline.

Adverse events

No

Outcome measures

Before and after the training period, participants ran 50 meters, and their times were recorded and their running movements analyzed. Ground reaction forces during short-distance running were measured. Drop jump (DJ) tests were conducted to measure jump height and ground reaction forces.
