Patients diagnosed with ALS by an IC, those who the referrer determines can be interviewed through conversation or other means of communication, and those classified as severity levels 2 to 4 in the severity classification.
Those whom the referrer judges to be mentally or psychologically difficult to interview for about one hour, or those who have difficulty in communicating in Japanese.
