Objectives

Narrative objectives1

As part of the social implementation of parenting support initiatives for children and parents based on the Interaction Rating Scale (IRS) (*1), we will conduct research with the following objectives.

- Based on the research conducted as part of the JST-commissioned research program "Building a social system based on parent-child attachment formation leading to 'child development'" (Review No. 2406) - a demonstration experiment targeting researchers - this research aims to evaluate the concept for families who attend nursery schools and certified childcare centers.
- Points of view for concept evaluation include satisfaction with the system provided, operability, operation methods, and intention to continue using it.
(*1) Interaction Rating Scale: An index developed as a method to easily measure various aspects of social competence from infancy to adulthood in a highly accurate and internationally comparable manner in a scenario setting with ecological validity.

The research subjects will be observed and filmed for approximately five minutes as they work on the task.
The researcher will conduct an IRS evaluation based on the results of the observations and recordings, and will send the research subjects a message based on the results of the IRS evaluation.
