To assess the feasibility of conducting a future randomized controlled trial of telehealth in early palliative care consultations for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer, and to identify technical and operational challenges associated with delivering telehealth in palliative care.

Key inclusion criteria

- Aged 18 years or older
- Currently receiving cancer treatment
- Diagnosed with advanced non-small cell lung cancer within the past 12 weeks
- Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) Performance Status of 0 to 3
- Able to respond to study questionnaires in Japanese

Key exclusion criteria

- Prior history of receiving palliative care interventions
- Inappropriate for study participation due to psychiatric condition or cognitive impairment
