Healthy older adults who are independent in ADL

Key exclusion criteria

People with arrhythmia, Pacemaker wearers, People with diabetes or other diseases that affect the analysis of autonomic nerve activity, and People diagnosed with dementia

Results

A basic study was conducted on 20 healthy older adults subjects (10 men and 10 women), all 20 of whom were asked to perform three types of handwashing using running water, running hot water, and rubbing disinfectant (gel), one method per day, for a total of three days, and comparative evaluations were made on autonomic nervous activity assessment index, working memory, and subjectivity.The results showed that handwashing stimulates cognitive function.
