The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of taping applied to the foot on the knee extension strength and toe grip strength required for single-leg sit-to-stand, and to explore the most effective taping location.

A significant difference was observed between groups in the primary outcome, the change in knee extension muscle strength, with the dorsiflexion group showing significantly higher values compared to the control group (p=0.009). No significant difference was observed between groups in the secondary outcome, the change in toe grip strength (p=0.372). No adverse events related to this study were observed.
