Male and Female
Patients with stroke.
Measures gait variability.
Measures of gait variability are reported as standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and Gait Variability Index.
Gait variability was measured using devices including a pressure sensitive mat, a 3D motion analysis system, an accelerometer, an inertial measurement unit (IMU), and a video camera.
Outcomes are independent walking, walking speed, balance, self-efficacy, and falls.
Written in English or Japanese.
Under 18 years of age.
Studies measuring functional gait (TUG, turning, step climbing, perturbation induction, stepping, dual-task walking, straddle).
Conference abstracts, review articles, case report, and other non-original articles.

Databases will be searched using Pubmed, Wos, CINAHL, MEDLINE, Scopus, PEDro, and Igaku Chuo Zasshi (ICHUSHI). Searches will be conducted using a combination of free keywords and thesaurus terms. The exposure factor will be gait variability. Outcomes will be independent walking, walking speed, balance, self-efficacy, and falls.
