A 12-week study will be conducted to determine if olfactory training (a method in which fragrances are dangled like pendants and sniffed simultaneously with normal breathing in daily life) can prevent cognitive decline in people 65 years of age and older than if it is not performed. The study will consist of questions, sniffing tests, and cognitive function tests.

Male and Female
A minimum score of 24 on the cognitive function test MMSE, which is performed after consent is obtained.
1 When there is nasal obstruction
2 When the patient has been diagnosed with dementia
3 When a cognitive function test cannot be performed
4 Patients who have requested the use of fragrances before enrollment in the study, or who have expressed refusal to use fragrances
5 The patient has a mental disorder or other illness that affects cognitive function or is undergoing treatment or prevention that affects cognitive function
6 Other cases in which the principal investigator/associate investigator deems the patient to be excluded due to safety issues or other reasons
