There was a trend towards improvement in maximum step length and in the two-step value.
No one dropped out of the program, and the implementation period and content were generally appropriate, making it a program that was highly satisfying and allowed participants to continue working on it. However, areas for improvement were identified as needing to provide more instructional opportunities for measurement results and exercises, as well as to improve the work environment.

The participants were eight people (six men and two women), with an average age of 51.5 years (standard deviation 5.7), and four people worked from home once or twice a week.
Study subjects were recruited through a request for cooperation from a systems engineering department (17 people in total) at a company in the Kanto region that has implemented telecommuting.
Participants were men and women aged 30 to 59 who worked from home at least once a week, and those who had been hospitalized or had surgery for orthopedic illness within the past three months were excluded.
Eight people who met the criteria consented to participate. No one dropped out of the program.
