The development of novel cancer therapies has increasingly complicated cancerpharmacotherapy. For regional medical institutions to provide optimal cancer care, more specialized medical knowledge and experience are requiredthan ever before. To ensure the delivery of optimal cancer care, it is crucial to establish a system that enables physicians at regional medicalinstitutions to consult directly with physicians at cancer-specialized hospitals who possess extensive expertise and experience in cancer treatment. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of an online consultation system that facilitates direct discussions between physicians at cancer-specialized hospitals and regional medical institutions regarding cancer treatment.
Efficacy
To confirm the feasibility of system construction and operation and the usefulness of consultation at each medical institution using this system, targeting those responses that provide sufficient information in the questionnaire (more than 50% of the responses were filled out).To evaluate various items related to the feasibility of establishing and operating an online consultation system at the National Cancer Center Hospital.
Concordance rate of treatment strategies and clinical guidelinesadherence, leading to improved prognosis.
