The time taken from entering to leaving the store when carrying out the task of shopping in a store, and a breakdown of that time (time required to find each designated product, time required to find the cash register, time required for payment).
Traces of movement in the store, correctness of shopping contents, behavioral errors and their frequencies, number and content of times when assistance was needed, number and content of times when there were difficulties or dangers

The improvements will be made to the store displays and layout. Examples are shown below.
The floor map display will be made with easy-to-read font size and with pictures added.
The display of the location of the cash register and the place to queue will be made more comprehensible.
The display of the product category names will be made with easy-to-read color schemes and heights.

Male and Female
1) Patient group: Outpatients who have been diagnosed with MCI or mild dementia at our center and meet the following conditions.
1. They have the opportunity to do their own shopping on a regular basis
2. They can participate in the survey (which takes about 1.5 hours)
3. They can decide for themselves whether or not to cooperate with the survey
4. They are able to walk independently
2) Healthy older adult group: People who have no history of central nervous system disease and lead independent lives, and who meet the following conditions.
1. Mini-Mental State Examination Japanese version 28 points or more.
2. They have the opportunity to do their own shopping on a regular basis
3. They can participate in the survey (which takes about 1.5 hours)
4. They can decide for themselves whether or not to cooperate with the survey
5. They are able to walk independently
