The goal is to establish new connections between local elderly residents and university students, thereby strengthening the health support system for the elderly and enhancing community ties.
1) Address regional challenges such as the lack of a comprehensive health support system (physical, mental, and social) and the decline in community connections for elderly residents through visits by students from Akita International University.
2) Provide Akita International University students with opportunities to learn from real-world experiences while fostering relationships and a sense of attachment to the community, encouraging them to settle or revisit the region in the medium to long term.
