Narrative objectives1
Infective endocarditis is a serious disease with a high mortality rate. We aim to retrospectively analyze the etiologic factors, surgical procedures, and life expectancy of patients who underwent cardiovascular surgery after developing infective endocarditis at our hospital, and to apply the results to the future treatment of patients with endocarditis. The results of this study will be useful for the future treatment of patients with the same disease.
