The program showed high attendance and satisfaction rates, with all participants expressing willingness to continue playing pair Go. Paired t-tests revealed significant improvements in executive function, attention, and memory (all p < 0.05). Feeling of loneliness also significantly decreased (p < 0.05). These results suggest the program is feasible and may benefit cognitive function and mental health.

The results have been submitted for publication and are currently under review.
A total of 20 older adults completed the program and surveys (mean age: 78.8 years).
There were 17 females and 3 males.
All participants were community-dwelling and independent in their daily activities.
No participants had a diagnosis of dementia or any medical conditions known to affect cognitive or psychological functioning.
Participants had no prior experience playing Go.
Participants attended a total of 12 Pair Go sessions, held once a week for 90 minutes.
Program feasibility, such as attendance rate and participant satisfaction, was recorded throughout the intervention period.
Cognitive tests and questionnaires on mental health were conducted before and after the intervention.
There were no adverse events attributable to the study.
