Primary outcomes
The short side of the smartphone is placed on the spinous processes of (1) th1/2, (2) th12/L1 and (3) L4/5. The thoracic kyphosis angle was defined as (1) + (2) and the lumbar lordosis angle as (2) + (3). To assess reproducibility, one of the examiners measured once, and a second measurement was taken four hours later. Another examiner also took a measurement at the second time. Measurements with a smartphone and an analogue level were carried out on a separate day.

Within a day, one examiner took two measurements with a smartphone in (1) the supinated position and (2) the elevated position of the upper limb, respectively, while the other subject took one measurement. Within a week, one subject also took one measurement each with a smartphone and an analogue level.

Key inclusion criteria
Men and women with no physical disability were targeted.
Key exclusion criteria
Those experiencing pain in the lumbar or shoulder joint at the time of measurement. Or pain occurs before the measurement.
