- No other participants within the household
- Not regularly watching sports games in person
- No membership in the Japanese Professional Football League or other professional sports teams
- Not diagnosed with depression
Key exclusion criteria
- Severe depression based on the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CES-D) scores >=46
