Narrative objectives1
After radiation therapy, pain is reduced. However, the degree of pain reduction varies between patients, and this image analysis may reveal a correlation between pain and image changes. By capturing tumor changes as functional images in MRI images before and after treatment, it may be possible to predict the time until future post-irradiation recurrence of bone metastases (regrowth, pain, and compression fractures).
