Narrative objectives1
This study exams retrospectively factors related to prognosis and quality of life (QOL) based on the real-world. This study includes patients who have been treated in the department of medical oncology at Kameda Medical Center. Our hospital is located on the Boso Peninsula, and the medical area is considered a medically underpopulated region. It is expected that many regions in Japan will experience depopulation of medical care in the future, and the insights gained from this study will lead to the development of a medical model for cancer treatment in Japan.

This is a single-center, retrospective study and primarily collects the following information as of August 31, 2024; patient ID, patient background (age, gender, performance status, cancer type, history of present illness, past medical history, complications, address, time and distance to the hospital, presence of cohabitants, occupation, income, education, etc.), laboratory information (blood tests, imaging studies, pathological assessments, etc.), genetic information (genomic profiling test, etc.), treatment history, overall survival, etc.
