The purpose of this study was to propose a new method of RT under blood flow restriction in muscles that combines isometric and isotonic contractions, which are conventionally used for strength training, and to clarify the physiological changes in metabolic stress and mechanical tension related to muscle hypertrophy with respect to this strength training. To clarify.

Low-Intensity Slow Training (LST) Group Description: Participants performed resistance training at an intensity of 50% 1RM. The movement cycle consisted of a 3-second extension, a 1-second pause, and a 3-second flexion (slow movement). A "non-lock" technique was employed to avoid complete extension and flexion, maintaining constant muscle tension throughout the 8 repetitions.
High-Load Training (HL) Group Description: Participants performed resistance training at an intensity of 80% 1RM. The movement speed was controlled at 1 second for extension and 1 second for flexion (normal speed). The exercise was performed through a full range of motion (Full ROM) for 8 repetitions, with strict control to prevent compensatory movements.
Combined Training (CB) Group Description: Participants performed a combined training protocol at an intensity of 40% 1RM. The protocol consisted of a 20-second isometric contraction at a knee joint angle of approximately 70 degrees, immediately followed by 8 repetitions of partial range-of-motion movements centered around the same angle, performed at a high tempo of 100 bpm.
