Key inclusion criteria
Cases in which gastric cancer was imaged from the same distance and direction at WLI and LCI.
Inclusion criteria were as follows: patients with gastric cancer lesions of 20 mm or smaller, without ulcers, flat lesions (0-IIa, IIb, IIc), differentiated type carcinoma, invasion depth limited to the mucosa (M), and H. pylori-negative status.
Key exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria included lesions with obvious erosion, ulcers, bleeding, special types of gastric cancer, and cases with unknown H. pylori infection status.

We investigate the histological findings and color value of the mucosa visualized by LCI and WLI, and perform visibility test for demarcation between cancer and adjacent mucosa.
