The blood BDNF levels in elderly patients with sequelae of CO poisoning were lower than those in healthy elderly individuals.

Inclusion Criteria:
Aged 75 years over
At that time, there was a rule that coal miners should be aged 16 and above. Therefore, it is guessed 75 years old or older even at least 60 years after a coal dust explosion accident. Based on this, a minimum age for eligible individuals, including healthy older adults, was established.
Outpatient
Exclusion Criteria:
History of neuropsychiatric disorders other than carbon monoxide poisoning
History of cerebrovascular disease with obvious sequelae
