The purpose of this study is to investigate the feasibility of rehabilitation training using Fully Immersive Virtual Reality for stroke and other neuropsychiatric patients with motor and balance dysfunction and to evaluate its effectiveness in terms of motor paralysis and balance function.

DGI(Dynamic Gait Index), TUG(Timed Up and Go test), 10-m walk test, Brunnstrom Stage

Device,equipment |
Rehabilitation training using Fully Immersive Virtual Reality will be provided for 20 minutes per day in combination with conventional physical therapy. This combined training will be conducted 5 days a week for 2 weeks (total of 10 sessions) for continuous intervention.

Male and Female
Patients admitted to the Convalescent Rehabilitation Ward of the International University of Health and Welfare Ichikawa Hospital and provided with rehabilitation, who meet the following conditions.
1) Patients with neuropsychiatric disorders who are admitted to International University of Health and Welfare Ichikawa Hospital and for whom rehabilitation has been ordered by a doctor
2) Patients with motor paralysis or balance disorder due to neurological diseases
3) Patients who are able to obtain written consent for research participation of their own free will
4) Patients who are 20 years of age or older at the time of consent
5) Patients who can maintain sitting and standing postures by themselves
6) Patients who show no change in motor function assessment for 1 week
7) For stroke patients, patients who have had a first stroke and the elapsed time since stroke onset is 90 days or less.
1) Patients who have difficulty with even simple conversation due to severe cognitive dysfunction
2) Severe visual impairment
3) Uncontrollable epileptic seizures
4) Complications of orthopedic or internal diseases that limit walking
