Narrative objectives1
Excessive neonatal weight loss is a potential cause of long-term adverse sequelae, but there are few reports on its causes. Although there are reports that the amount of pre-delivery infusions is associated with birth weight loss, there are no reports on intraoperative infusion volume and neonatal weight loss in cesarean births. We investigated the relationship between intraoperative infusion volume and neonatal weight loss during cesarean section at our hospital.

Cesarean section cases performed in the operating room of Showa University Northern Yokohama Hospital
Key exclusion criteria
Generalized anesthesia, placenta praevia, twin pregnancy, preterm labor, Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy, etc.
