Objectives

Narrative objectives1

The purpose of this study was to determine the changes in the ratio of fast-twitch muscle fibers in hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients following steroid administration by noninvasive evaluation using electromyography (EMG), and to determine the relationship between changes in intermediate frequency and steroid dosage and physical performance by EMG frequency analysis before and after transplantation.

Pacemaker implantation
Severe cardiac disease
Bone tumor with risk of fracture
