Narrative objectives1

The purpose of this study is to analyze eye movements while playing a simple computer game or looking at images in dementia patients, elderly people in the community, and workers, and to clarify the relationship between eye movements and known cognitive function tests and assessment indices related to personality traits.

Key inclusion criteria

Selection Criteria for Persons with Dementia and Mild Cognitive Impairment:Persons who are at least 18 years of age at the time of study entry and have a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment or dementia.
Selection criteria for healthy individuals: 18 years of age or older at the time of study participation.

Key exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria for persons with dementia and mild cognitive impairment: 1.
1. those who have difficulty in recognizing the images presented due to visual impairment
2. those with mood disorders, schizophrenia, or intellectual disability

Exclusion criteria for healthy individuals
1. who have difficulty perceiving the images presented due to visual impairment
2. who have mood disorder, schizophrenia, or intellectual disability
3. who have ever been diagnosed with dementia
